The Michigan Milk Producers Association is a dairy farmer owned cooperative and dairy processor. Founded in 1916, the MMPA serves dairy farmers in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Farm Bureau Achievement in Agriculture Finalist

Owner-Operator Garrett Bartholomew was selected as a finalist out of many applicants for Michigan Farm Bureau's Achievement in Agricultu award. This award recognizes a succesful young agriculturalist or couple in the Young Farmer & Rancher program.

Some History

Humans have been drinking milk from cows for thousands of years. Modern dairy farming began in the early 1900’s after pasteurization was developed and utilized widely. Pasteurization allows for a safer product and extends milk’s shelf life by eradicating spoilage-causing bacteria through the application of heat. This process allows milk to last longer and be shipped further.

About Our Farm

Cloverdale Farms

We are a foruth generation family-owned dairy, beef, and cash crop farm located in Kalamazoo, County. We believe in sustainable practices such as utilizing rotational pasture grazing on our operation.

Our herd is made up of Jerseys, Holsteins, and Brown Swiss.
